Prof. Zahra Farsi received her Ph.D. in Nursing from Tehran University of Medical Sciences. She then completed a two-year postdoctoral fellowship in Psychometrics & Education at the Tehran University of Medical Sciences. Additionally, she holds a two-year master's in medical education from Shahid Beheshti University of Medical Sciences. She is a Professor at Aja University of Medical Sciences and is involved in medical education, focusing on active learning strategies. She is head of the Military Nursing Sciences Research Center of Aja University of Medical Sciences. She wrote numerous articles and books, including "Experiences of Health Care Providers in the Iran-Iraq War," which was selected as the best book of the Islamic Republic of Iran Army Ground Forces in 2019.
As a dedicated Professor in Nursing and passionate Medical Educationist, she has spent her career advancing healthcare education, bridging clinical practice with innovative teaching methodologies. With a strong foundation in both academic scholarship and qualitative and quantitative research experience, she is committed to shaping the next generation of competent healthcare professionals.
Her expertise lies in medical education, faculty development, and interprofessional learning. She has had the privilege of mentoring students and junior faculty, contributing to national and international research, and leading initiatives that promote excellence in medical education.
What drives her is the belief that quality education and evaluation are the foundation of quality care. Whether in the classroom, at the bedside, or through research, she strives to create active learning environments that are inclusive, reflective, and transformative.

Dr. Nursemin Unal is an Associate Professor with a doctoral degree in Fundamentals of Nursing. She began her nursing education with a military foundation, graduating from the Gülhane Military Medical Academy School of Nursing. She has 9 years of clinical experience at Turkey’s largest military hospital, with a strong focus on surgical, orthopedic, and traumatology nursing. In addition to her clinical expertise, she has held academic positions at various higher education institutions. Her areas of specialization include military nursing, trauma management, holistic patient care, elderly and frail patient care, post-surgical recovery, evidence-based nursing practises and complementary therapies. Dr. Unal integrates clinical practice with education and research, emphasizing ethical, holistic, and culturally sensitive approaches to nursing care. She has contributed to numerous national and international research projects and has published in several peer-reviewed journals. She is an active member of the Turkish Nurses Association, the European Transcultural Nursing Association, and the Association of Orthopedic and Traumatology Nursing. Additionally, she serves as a reviewer and editorial board member for various academic journals.
