Dr. Seyed Amir Hosein Pishgooie is a Full Professor with nearly four decades of professional experience in nursing education, research and practice. He is a professor at Aja University of Medical Sciences and is involved in nursing education. He has been the Vice Dean of Education at the School of Nursing since 2015.
He holds a Bachelor's degree and MSc in Nursing from, and a PhD in Nursing from Baqiyatallah University of Medical Sciences. Additionally, he has worked in intensive care units for 10 years simultaneously with teaching at the school of nursing. His expertise lies in nursing education, faculty development, and interprofessional learning. His interests include critical care nursing, emergency medicine, neurological nursing, and nursing management.
He has authored more than 40 articles indexed in Scopus and over 200 articles in Google Scholar. Furthermore, he has written several books and translated one book into Persian.
