Bridging the gap between theoretical knowledge and clinical practice is a crucial aspect of the learning process, ensuring the effective application of acquired knowledge in real-world healthcare settings.</span></span></span></span></span><br> <span style="font-size:8.5pt"><span style="line-height:150%"><span new="" roman="" style="font-family:" times=""><b><span style="font-size:12.0pt"><span style="line-height:150%">Objective:</span></span></b><span style="font-size:12.0pt"><span style="line-height:150%"> This study aims to identify the causes and influential factors contributing to the gap between theory and practice in nursing education.</span></span></span></span></span><br> <span style="font-size:12pt"><span style="line-height:150%"><span new="" roman="" style="font-family:" times=""><b>Materials and Methods:</b> A narrative review was conducted through a comprehensive search of Persian databases (SID, Research.Idml, Magiran) and international databases (ScienceDirect, PubMed, Scopus, Web of Science), along with a web search using Google Scholar. The search included the Persian keywords &quot;Professional Practice Gaps, Clinical Education, Nursing Education, and Theoretical Education&quot; and their English equivalents, covering the period from 2015 to 2023.
