fa بررسی بیماری‌ها و عوارض شایع در بین زائران اربعین مراجعه کننده به موکب‌های سلامت دانشگاه علوم پزشکی مشهد در سال 1401; یک مقاله کوتاه An Investigation of Common Diseases and Symptoms among Arbaeen Pilgrims Presenting to the Health Service Stations of Mashhad University of Medical Sciences, 2022: A Short Article سلامت در بلایا و فوریت ها Health in disasters and emergencies مقاله کوتاه Short Article مقدمه: حضور در راهپیمایی اربعین دستاورد معنوی عظیمی برای افراد شرکت کننده دارد اما نمی‌توان از بروز برخی بیماری‌ها در طول پیاده روی اربعین چشم پوشی کرد. هدف: هدف از انجام این طرح بررسی بیماری‌ها و عوارض شایع در بین زائران اربعین مراجعه کننده به موکب‌های سلامت دانشگاه علوم پزشکی مشهد بود. مواد و روش‌ها: این مطالعه توصیفی – مقطعی از 19 تا 31 شهریور سال 1401 بر روی 600 نفر از زائران پیاده‌روی اربعین مراجعه کننده به موکب‌های سلامت دانشگاه علوم پزشکی مشهد در کشور عراق انجام گرفت. افراد به روش نمونه‌گیری در دسترس انتخاب شدند. کلیه اطلاعات توسط چک لیست جمع آوری شد و پس از تکمیل، تعداد 544 چک لیست که به طور کامل پاسخ داده شده بود استخراج و جهت تحلیل‌های آماری با استفاده از آمار توصیفی وارد نسخه 23 نرم‌افزار SPSS شدند. یافته‌ها: میانگین سن شرکت کنندگان در این مطالعه 36/41 سال بود. نتایج داده‌های آماری از 544 چک لیست که توسط واحدهای پژوهش پر شده بود، نشان داد که شایع‌ترین بیماری گزارش شده در میان زائران اربعین مربوط به 220 مورد (4/40 درصد) بیماری‌های تنفسی بود. شایع‌ترین و کمترین عوارضی که بیماران گزارش کرده بودند به ترتیب مربوط به سرفه با 219 مورد (40/3 درصد) و اپیستاکسی (0/2 درصد) بود. نتیجه‌گیری: در پیاده روی اربعین به دلیل تراکم جمعیت و عدم رعایت اصول بهداشتی، شیوع بیماری‌ها افزایش می‌یابد. لذا، بایستی به دنبال راهکارهایی به منظور ارتقای سطح بهداشت مسیر پیاده روی اربعین و زائران حاضر در مسیر بود. با توجه به نتایج تحقیق به منظور بهبود شرایط بهداشتی بهتر است تمهیدات لازم برای کنترل انواع بیماری‌ها بخصوص بیماری‌های تنفسی و عوارض مربوط به آن‌ها سنجیده شود.   Introduction: While participation in the Arbaeen pilgrimage represents a profound spiritual achievement for attendees, the incidence of various health issues during the walk cannot be disregarded. Objective: The aim of this study was to investigate the prevalent diseases and complications among Arbaeen pilgrims who sought care at the health service stations operated by Mashhad University of Medical Sciences. Materials and Methods: This descriptive cross-sectional study was conducted from 10 to 22 September, 2022, on 600 Arbaeen pilgrims visiting the health service stations of Mashhad University of Medical Sciences in Iraq. Participants were selected via convenience sampling. Data were collected using a standardized checklist. Subsequently, 544 fully completed checklists were extracted and entered into SPSS version 23 for analysis using descriptive statistics. Results: The mean age of the study participants was 41.36 years. Analysis of the data from the 544 checklists revealed that the most prevalent category of disease was respiratory illnesses, accounting for 220 cases (40.4%). The most and least commonly reported complications were cough (219 cases, 40.3%) and epistaxis (0.2%), respectively. Conclusion: The prevalence of diseases during the Arbaeen pilgrimage is exacerbated by high population density and inadequate adherence to hygiene practices. Consequently, it is imperative to identify strategies for enhancing health standards along the pilgrimage route and for the attendees.
