Abstract:   (24 Views)
Military forces, due to the nature of their job, as a sensitive and key stratum in national security, in encountering fields of crisis, face numerous psychological, physical, and social stresses and challenges that can have negative impact on their performance and health. Resilience as the ability to resist stress and recover balance after crisis, has a key role in maintaining efficiency and health of the forces. Spiritual health which includes values, beliefs and the individual's connection with higher purposes, as one of the fundamental dimensions of general health, also plays an important role in controlling stress, increasing motivation and strengthening the sense of purposefulness in the career path of military forces. The purpose of this study is to present a summary of policies related to the promotion of resilience based on spiritual health in military forces. The findings of the study showed that "spiritual education and awareness-raising"; "providing opportunities for thinking and contemplation"; "encouraging the performance of spiritual and religious activities"; "providing spiritual counseling services"; "development of spiritual leadership" and "integration of spiritual health in the healthcare system" can be considered for the promotion of resilience based on spiritual health. In order to achieve the promotion of resilience and taking into consideration the factors related to spiritual health, it is necessary to use the proposed policy solutions for maintaining an effective workforce
