The Study of Effective Factors on the Creation and Boosting Organizational Morale (Case Study: Students of a Military University)

Introduction: Studying on employees' morale is one of the effective ways to assess the success or failure of organizations for achieving their goals. 
Objective the present study aimed to investigate the impact of managers’ organizational trust and managerial competency on the students' organizational morale.
Material and Method: This research is a descriptive-analytical and survey-based study. Of total 3000 students, 218 were selected using probable sampling method. The instrument used in this study was a fill -field questionnaire. Data were analyzed using SPSS 20 and Regression analysis.
 Results: The results showed the moderate level for morale and managerial competency and low level for organizational trust. The correlation coefficient for organizational morale with organizational trust and the perception of management competence was 0.65 and 0.61, respectively which suggested a positive and significant relationship (P = 0.001).
Discussion and Conclusion: Organizational trust and the perception of managerial competency have a significant effect on the organizational morale; each and every one of them, has explained a degree of variance for organizational morale. Regarding that the organizational morale of the majority of students is moderate, and that the majority have a low organizational trust, other factors seem to involve in assessing the morale and it requires further studies in this regard.
